Classes have been canceled for most of the week due to the craziness caused by Hurricane Sandy. And now I'm wondering why we don't give other natural disasters first names - Earthquake Ernie, Tornado Tammy......... I think we could go somewhere with this.

But in all seriousness, the hurricane caused a lot of damage, and for anyone who is suffering from loss of home or electricity - hang in there. The worst is over, and the entire country is now focused on rebuilding.

Hello all! Today my outfit is sort of Halloween themed, which suits the Frankenstorm rumors that I keep hearing on the news - apparently there is a massive storm coming this way! 

I'm going to see a band tonight that I've loved for so so so long - since before their first album even came out - The XX. I can't wait. I'm too excited to even explain it. I'll post photos/ possibly videos this weekend, as apparently I'll be cooped up in my room waiting out Frankenstorm for the next few days!

Hello everyone! The weather has been so cloudy and rainy lately, it's been incredibly hard to post regularly the last few weeks because of it. It is still very cloudy today, but no rain as of yet! 

I have so much to show you, so weather permitting, I'll be posting lots in the next week or so! :)

I'm off to learn about the French Revolution now.

finally, an outfit post! I know it's obnoxious that I keep apologizing, but I'm so sorry for my lack of posts! I received this amazing shirt in the mail yesterday courtesy of Vivilli, and I'm obsessed. It fits perfectly and I absolutely love the pattern. I don't have anything else like it!

Sorry that I've been so horrible at updating lately - I've been dealing with a lot of things and I've been a little bit preoccupied. But something interesting happened to me last night that I thought I'd share - I met Freja Beha Erichsen at a concert for one of my favorite bands, First Aid Kit! She was so nice and agreed to take a photo with me, even though I'm a creep. Isn't she gorgeous??
